First Day/Night

Since I basically wrote my entire day yesterday in facebook I am just going copy and paste :)

So, besides me being frustrated right now because i didnt get to talk to anyone, which i should probably get use to. Today was a really good day. I would have wrote all about it on my blog but gmail is not letting me into my account and i cant get the confirmation number when i do get in because i dont have a cell phone.




Anyway here is a brief summary of my day starting yesterday. My first flight to chicago was short. I took about a 15 minute nap and since it was only a 50 minute flight i was there before i knew it. After that i had a 4 hour layover before my 9 hour flight to Frankfurt, Germany. The plane was really nice but i didnt sleep much so by the time i got to Germany i was pretty much exhausted and slept for most of that 3 hour lay over. I finally got really excited on my flight to Italy. I had a window seat and we flew in over the alps. It was one of my many breath taking scenes that i got to see today. Once we arrived in Florence Sams cousin came to pick us up. We stopped at our hostle to drop a few things off and then she gave us a tour of the city. We got in about 5 p.m. and got done about an hour ago at 11 p.m. Its hard do describe all the amazing things that i saw and it was only the first day.



My favorite part of the whole day, besides seeing the city, was the way it felt to be there. I was very intimidated by the though of this beautiful city but it is actually very quaint and homey. It is comforting to know that if i dont have much going on during the day that it is very safe for me to walk around by myself. I cant wait to go explore on my own and take as much or as little time looking at stuff as i want. Another really cool thing is that they have farmers markets everywhere. I will wait to see what my appartment looks like before i try to by food, but it will be a fun experience.



I love everyone and even though it is beautiful here i still miss home :)



P.S I didnt find a fan today so the likelyhood of me sleeping through the night is not good. So, if anyone is online feel free to facebook chat me because i am sure i will be up!
