Today I got to really get to know my roomies. I spent most of the morning walking around with my roommate. Of course we got lost and wondered around for over an hour but, it was a good chance to get to know each other a little better. When I got back to the apartment my other two roomates were just heading out to get miscellaneous things that we needed. On our way back home we noticed a sign that read "FREE WINE TONIGHT". Granted this was on a scrap piece of paper and written in permanent marker, we decided it would be the perfect place to go grab dinner that night.
When we came back to the apartment we and had girl talk for a couple of hours. I have never met such complete strangers that I got along so well with. One of my roommates, Selin is even more outgoing than me. She is Turkish and hillarious. My other roommate Lauren I get along with the best. We both have our mind set on traveling on as many places as possible and have already promised ourselves to go skydiving while we are here. My other roommate is...um....different. But, so am I so I am not going to say anything else.
Anyway when we finally found our way back to the restaurant we had a blast. The first thing they did was bring us out two vases of wine. One red one white. By the end of the night we knew not only everyone elses name that was eating in the resaurant but, also everyone's name who worked there. I even danced with the cook.
All in all it was a great night and I am really thankful how great everything has turned out.
